The real estate advertisement was offering a hunting lodge built in 1938 by a CEO of an auto company. While visions of a rustic yet sophisticated structure came to mind the reality was anything but.  The setting deep in the woods however was within expectations so the rest was entirely up to creativity. This project was a major renovation with a major addition to create that romantic image of a wilderness lodge.
